Wonders in the sky
Wonders in the sky Wonders in the Sky ( a villanelle) Lazily lying, watching magic in the dark night sky. There are unimagined wonders in the depths of darkest night, I treasure all the jewels; I know are up so high. I see the silver crescent moon in glory passing by. Penetrating deeper, are my thoughts of space and flight. Lazily lying, watching magic in the dark night sky. Giant blasting Nebulas do burst and multiply, Dying stars, like fireworks rage with plumes of neon light. I treasure all the jewels; I know are up so high. Planet rings light up as rock and ice fly by. Asteroids or meteorites fly fast with all their might. Lazily lying, watching magic in the dark night sky. The smallest planets dying are white dwarfs that seem to cry Magnificent Supernovas grandiose in their pure might. I treasure all the jewels; I know are up so high. Satellites and rockets: space shuttles prepare to fly Exploring all the wonders and bring them to our sight. Lazily lying, watching magic in the dark night sky I treasure all the jewels; I know are up so high. IlaMae (Ike) Stucki © 2/29/12

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
