Words of others

Sitting, listening to the words of others Makes me wonder why I bother. Will my words flow like theirs do? Will I make my point like I mean to? It’s fine to be inspired by what they say But can I compare when I try it my way? It’s questions like these that put me to the test. Makes me realise I can do it best. So from what I hear, I take what I need, Not everything, not all of it indeed. Just what I need for my soul to feed So my words can help me to succeed.
