Writing Poems

This was written to a friend of mine. Just a little bit of light hearted humor.. You should write a poem every day. Sure! That's easy for you to say To come up with a rhyme and find the flow Most of the time the lines seem to blow. Rewrites and edits become the norm Before the final version takes form Once in a while they do come with ease Hopefully writing words that will please. I'm not sure I can do this day after day Sometimes I find I have nothing to say. Inspiration won't come and the mind stays quiet If you think it's so easy, why don't you try it!
