Yellow is the colour

·GoldenSun

Autumn weaves a yellow carpet under a glorious tree then invites all for free! This colour of friendship binds me to thee! O!Earth, Here I come Your beauty I want to see! On this yellow carpet I relax and stretch my legs Watching dawn's first ray a memory,I etch! Her yellow hands, yellow embrace reminds me of an Indian bride's grace! With turmeric paste all over her hands and face! The sacred thread adorns her neck just like a yellow lace! I want to retire from my life's race So,I relax and clouds I chase! Seated under this wonderful tree a fluting music I hear A call from heaven but very near! My eyes follow the sound.... A Golden Oriole is what I found! She flaunts her yellow then continues with her song..all mellow! Wandering thoughts bring yellow leaves on my lap Then I lie down for a short nap. My eyes merge a yellow ray,an orange and a white Then I draw on Earth's forehead Like a vermilion deep red! The sky brightens her smile My eyes close for a while On Earth's lap I lie Like a mother's little child!
