My stable heart has shifted The time had come again Her sweet, inducing scent Had made its way back in This bundle of dazzling, yellow vigor Would tear through this skin Wrap her arms tight around me My yellow Jessamine Her golden blossoms The sounds of violins She'd lay me down on the river's bank As the poison set in Vines growing wild in the winter Wearing my mind weak and thin Forever sweet, savage nectar My yellow Jessamine
