YOU Years of foraging through damp holes Stagnant air seeping through my failing toes Inevitable decay became my solace- Blindness my consolation until solitude, no longer purgatory, became my grace. I pushed deep and deeper yet drawing deeply my last breath ................in mysquelched paradise Until you…. Blinding light cinged the silence as my gaping eyes saw clear. Needles pierced my dead flesh as new life rushed into my heart breathlessly choking futility. New life overcame my soul releasing me from the darkness. I became yours, alive and free. Curse this wretched pen! Grasping for expressions of the surreal- of the need to be within you body and soul. Petty words dare not defile ascensions toward nirvana Othe infantile language of man! Perfect and pristine- the union of two souls swells within this mortal heart, Transcending time, sound, logic and sight. Take me there.....
