you brighten my world

Never more will I think of you Never more will I speak of you My heart would stop beating if I tried You are overpowering, too strong to resist You brighten my world, when I’m enclosed by darkness The light to follow when I am astray The sun that breaks through the massive clouds You are all the lightnings across the dark overwhelming sky My day is enlighten frequently by you luminous smile Yet you are only a vivid desire Like a shadow trying to be seen on a cloudy day I looked your way every time You never looked back once

“I am enough of an artist to draw freely upon my imagination. Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” Albert Einstein
