You Laughed

you laughed and the world was brighter that day I remember it all so well, or so I'd like to believe it was everything to me, and I couldn't imagine a day without you the truth, I suspect is that you never really cared not enough to go the distance not enough to stay... words are fine easy to spill, most anyone can speak them just listen where were you, my dear when I needed you? no where. anywhere, but around me off again, gallivanting with traipsing even salivating at the end of the day, what does it matter? we all make choices, known or unknown and for that moment it was real, something you used to feel crazy how it no longer matters not really ... I think I used to believe in love pure from the heart and soul, two beings together, forever and ever never another no way maybe I'm callused maybe I'm not, true love is something I've always dreamed of and yet, in my life, there's always something that something that stumbles and stops ... maybe there is no such thing as true love a legend of those who write, a creation of those who sing a desire of those who have not anything

The distance between two hearts is not an obstacle when true love is present...
