You Made My Whole World sing
You Made My Whole World Sing I lift you,lightly...lovingly From the soft down quilt where you lay. I glimpse the light within your eyes I bow my head, and thanks I pray. A tiny infant grandson... Delivered now from Heavens door, I hold you in my wanting arms... Who could wish for anything more? A fragile frame, so tiny! Hands wrinkled red and long... With the fingers of a concert pianist, One day they will be so strong. Your skin so luminescent, Brings emotion to my soul. Your heart transmits an inner light. Your spirit makes mine whole. When did my heart bond tight to yours, To make my whole world sing? T'was on the day when you were born... When the angels, you, did bring. I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
