You Reduce MeYou

·Dreams

You reduce me To my fears An ugly Bulbous figure Wounds rupture Across my skin Blistering Scandalously Hunching low Against the light Darkness provides Immortality Shrinking Into myself Your red hot poker grip Tightens I dislike those associations You create in me Random rush Impulses Explode My resistance Superficial Your realisation of my limits Phenomenal Self loathing figure looks back In reflections My tongue blackens My eyes twist White slits You blow gently I crumble In a loud heap I slither At your feet Repeatedly You find my weakness Your satisfied smile Implies my death Momentary as it may be, I cry Red hot Blistering Those fears Resurface Across my face Boils reform You’ve reduced me to my lowest form A lonely loathsome figure.
