You Took An Angel Back To You Today

You Took An Angel Back To You Today. You took an angel back to You today, someone hardly anybody knew and you lifted him and his wounded spirit into the strong arms of You. This angel wasn’t proud, with memories full of shame, but through his anger he called out and at once You knew his name. His death, they frowned, “A sad reflection of today’s society, the ‘gang’ culture of hate and mindless depravity.” “He had it coming to him, shame on him for living that way. At least it’s not on our street”, the good folk sweetly say. But You were there waiting where others dare not go, because where there is hate and anger, Your love waits there also.
