1997/8 You’ve shown me how beautiful the trees are, whose leaves I cursed each time one took it’s final leap. You’ve shown me the delicate rose bud, whose scent I never smelt for fear the thorns may penetrate too deep. You’ve shown me freedom in the sunrise, whose rays I met each day’s end knowing they’d leave me blind. You’ve shown me where I want to be, I was so far off track but now I long for, crave for what you’ve helped me find. To DvS, thanks for breaking my insanity
