You were my karma
You were the one that got to me, who got past my defences left me broken since those words were spoken in complete leave of my senses your brown eyes held darker secrets than any I thought I could ever own but in the end I see we're just the same, we fought together, "won" alone I lamented for what I had "lost" convinced fate paid me back for being "bad" but how could it have "cost" me the one thing Itrulynever had In the face of my spiritual journey from who I was so long ago it is only with times true revelation I can now face and know I was here before, someone once loved me and I used it to my advantage I took what I wanted greedily left them in torment used to act the martyr to their obsession now here I kneel before my pain astounded at this confession it is only with the agony I learned through a love unreciprocated until nearly everything I did on them was done to meby the one for whom I waited until i'd screamed and cried, been reborn and died, and hauntingly yearned learned the hardest and most painful lesson is the one that's never learned. You were my karma.
