So young and so alive, or so we thought Living for the weekend, living to get caught Taking our chances like rolling the dice Trapped in lifes maze, wandering like mice Get through reailty by altering states How could i know, it would open the flood gates its just curiosity, i tell myself Just young and alive, logic on the top shelf The takeover is so slow, realization shut its eyes My whole life is changed, hidden in lies Inhale it, exhale it, the change is coming blood in my eyes, my mind always running Just young and alive, trying to have fun ending my life, euphoria my gun so hard to remember now, the night before but i long for the next to come, searching for more Ive chosen this, i choose this, is it too late now? I'm young and alive, lucky to be right here, right now. So young and Alive was our only thought Indestructable, we would never get caught The time of our lives, every chance we could Nothing had ever felt so good Bored of reality, its all the same Dependent, yet free, basking in the fame 9 lives its taken, but never mine just young and alive, daring to cross the line The experience takes over, i close my eyes the feeling takes over, it never lies inhale for me, exhale for me no one minds, no bloods on my hands just young and alive, its so much fun its my life, its my gun No need to remember, i know i enjoyed it living for the next time, always thinking of it Ive chosen this, i choose this Cherishing a chance to be young and alive. wrote this a few years back in highschool.
