Young Poets

Young Poets With stoic introspection, unseen observation, private editorializing, unspoken confession, restrained rage, invisible passion, masked anguish, unexpressed love and unexpected savvy, Young Poets write, pulling their thoughts and feelings out of their minds and hearts like strands of yarn from bunches of wool to weave them onto paper, keeping them close to protect that sacred anonymity, where all possibilities remain real as long as they remain hidden. And hiding, Young Poets are everywhere. You can’t tell who they are by how they look. You’d be surprised if you knew who some of them were. Keeping their introspections to themselves and their observations unseen, a half step away from this fast, noisy world, their sanity laser-focused and their courage sometimes fearful, they pour out heart-wrenching pages with many colors and voices, all as true, all as real, as only the Young can be.
