YOUTH DAY
Your emancipitation Was long overdue To the eyes of the nation Your soul Painted with bloody memories Of the streets of Soweto So-where-to My Soweto uprising So-where-to My swarthy child of hope Your sacrifices Gave life to salvation You chanted tunes to descrimination And racial seggregation Woman wave your hands and cry Your son has been sjamboked down the streets and detained By the loveless alliance of lucifer Heaven weeps salty tears To soften the stones of Soweto For the masses to run like lions To the sanctuary of an unchained Zion June 16 It has been scriptured in your soul That with grace in your face The wound trace in your heart Will be laced with spiritual diamonds
